Intro to Student Housing

Student housing is more than a place to live—it is where students begin practicing adulthood. This foundational course explores the annual student-housing cycle, the differences between on-campus and off-campus housing, and the unique responsibilities of the professionals serving these communities. Using Chickering’s Seven Vectors, with particular focus on moving through autonomy toward interdependence, we’ll examine how everyday housing experiences contribute to student growth, responsibility, and success.
